Guideline For A Smoother Vacation

posted on Jul 18, 2013

In order to ensure that your vacation to Thredbo goes smoothly as planned, you have to make sure that you have already taken care of the things that you would be living behind.

If you would be having a vacation of more than a month, you might want to consider placing a stop order for your subscriptions. It would also be a good move to have your mails forwarded to your address.

Other Important Things to Consider...

  1. Prescription medications (carry medications in original labelled containers in carryon luggage)
  2. Stomach remedies such as Pepto- Bismal, Tums, Gravel, Immodium
  3. First aid – polysporin, bandaids
  4. For the sun – Sunblock, Lipbalm with SPF, Aloe gel, body butter
  5. Shaving kit, toothbrushes and toothpaste,
  6. Bathing suits
  7. Beach Bag and Beach shoes
  8. Sun hats, sunglasses
  9. Camera

Now, regardless of where you are going, you would have to make sure that you have enough money to cover whatever expenses you might have. This could include rental payments to the Thredbo apartments you have chosen, or money for things that you would purchase as souvenirs. That being the case, you can either make the needed withdrawals before you hit the airport, or you can make sure that you look for locations of ATM in the place that you would be heading to. If your ATM is under the Visa or MasterCard network, this might not pose much of a problem.
